How It Works
Step 1: Ground and Settle In.
We open with a short, welcoming mindset reset, so you can let go of the day and be fully present to maximize joy.
Step 2: Learn the Basics.
A quick, approachable introduction to shape, colour, and composition. No art background required, and we keep this part brief so you get more time to play. Experienced artists can also benefit from this workshop. The benefits of basics cannot be understated.
Step 3: Create, Guided.
Most of the three hours is yours to paint, collage, and build bookmarks, greeting cards, or a small artwork, with our team on hand for support and technique.
Step 4: Leave Feeling Joyful With Something You Made.
Walk out with pieces that came from within, plus a fresh connection to your own creativity. You may also make some friends who genuinely enjoyed your company.
Upcoming Workshops
Every 3rd Saturday, we run a workshop no matter how many people sign up. Come alone or bring company; we'll make sure you have a wonderful creative experience. Optional: Drop in with an art project you already have underway and finish it (or move it forward) in a safe joyful environment and get expert help when you need it.

All materials, including collage elements, blank bookmarks and greeting cards, paint and oil pastels and more, provided in our Kerr Village studio. Just bring yourself.

More surface, more story. A medium sized artwork takes more work to accomplish the bigger size. This workshop is split over 2 sessions, 4 hrs total. The project stays in our studio until the end of session 2. No more than 1 week apart.

Family Edition: Make Something Together
Years of hand-turkeys, adorable first letters, and kindergarten masterpieces boxed away in a closet somewhere? Bring them out. Family Edition is built around combining your children's old artwork into one meaningful piece your family will actually want on the wall, showcasing the joy of family memories. Common Questions
I don't have old art to bring, can I still join?
Yes. We keep a small selection of pieces to wreck, plus new canvas bases, and collage materials, if you don't have something of your own to transform.
I've never done anything like this before.
That's exactly who these workshops are for. No experience is required, our sessions are built to be approachable from the very first brushstroke, whatever your starting point.
What if I don't see a date that works for me?

Can I pay for the workshop when I arrive?
Confirm your reservation at least 2 days before the workshop starts by paying the fee in full. Not any different than buying concert, theatre, or baseball tickets. We must receive payment in advance to prepare for your participation, including all art supplies, snacks, and drinks. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
