How It Works
Step 1: Ground and Settle In.
We open with a short, welcoming mindset reset, so you can let go of the day and be fully present to maximize joy.
Step 2: Learn the Basics.
A quick, approachable introduction to shape, colour, and composition. No art background required, and we keep this part brief so you get more time to play. Experienced artists can also benefit from this workshop. The benefits of basics cannot be understated.
Step 3: Create, Guided.
Most of the three hours is yours to paint, collage, and build bookmarks, greeting cards, or a small artwork, with our team on hand for support and technique.
Step 4: Leave Feeling Joyful With Something You Made.
Walk out with pieces that came from within, plus a fresh connection to your own creativity. You may also make some friends who genuinely enjoyed your company.
Upcoming Workshops
Every 3rd Saturday, we run a workshop no matter how many people sign up. Come alone or bring company; we'll make sure you have a wonderful creative experience. Optional: Drop in with an art project you already have underway and finish it (or move it forward) in a safe joyful environment and get expert help when you need it.

Three hour workshop, awakening your innate creativity. Enjoy the Ready, Learn and Play format led by an expert facilitator. Meet fun people and play for the joy of it. Make bookmarks, greeting cards or a small artwork. All materials, including collage elements, blank bookmarks and cards, paint and oil pastels and more, provided in our Kerr Village studio, Oakville. Just bring yourself.

$75 per person plus HST, in studio. All art materials included.
Joining virtually: $75 per person plus HST, plus art kit* and a shipping fee if you choose the art kit* option. *Art kit cost ranges from $50 - $120, depending on contents. That's exactly who this workshop is for. No experience is required, and we keep the instructional part brief so you spend most of your time creating, not studying.
How big can my group be?
This workshop scales from a solo afternoon to a large private group. For anything beyond a small group, reach out through our contact page for custom group pricing.
What do I actually make?
Your choice of a bookmark, a set of greeting cards, or a small painted or collaged artwork. Most participants finish more than one small piece.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, if you're joining us in studio. If you're joining virtually, you can have a kit shipped to you for an added fee, or use our supply list to gather materials you already own or purchase yourself.
Can I pay for the workshop when I arrive?
Confirm your reservation at least 2 days before the workshop starts by paying the fee in full. Not any different than buying concert, theatre, or baseball tickets. We must receive payment in advance to prepare for your participation, including all art supplies, snacks, and drinks. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
