OPEN HOUSE ART EXHIBITION

Open House Art Exhibition
About the Exhibition
What emerges when five accomplished artists trust their creative instincts completely? Cleo Lant, Denys Golomenkov, Geraldine Gillingham, Heather Lockhart, and Kathleen Potter have created work that refuses to be contained by a single aesthetic or philosophy. Delicate botanical studies in muted blues and pinks whisper rather than shout, inviting viewers into intimate observation of nature's subtlety. Elsewhere, vibrant abstractions demand attention—teals and reds colliding, greens and yellows dancing across canvas in compositions that pulse with energy and spontaneity. Minimalist gestures in white and grey challenge the viewer to find meaning in restraint, to understand that sometimes what is left unsaid speaks louder than what is rendered in detail. And then—expressive portraiture that captures not just likeness but presence, emotion rendered in warm earth tones and bold colour, subjects that seem to breathe and live within the frame.
