Out of the Mist

This horse portrait is a reprisal of one of the first Xarchos ever painted of a friend’s horse - this version is more atmospheric, as if the horse is emerging from the mist. She has since painted innumerable animal portraits of both domestic livestock and beloved pets that were cherished by their humans.
