Mahima was born in India and pursued her passion for design through formal education, earning a Bachelor of Interior Design degree  from the Interior Design Department at Anant National University. Her love for art began in childhood—at just 15 years old, she held a small exhibition showcasing her early artistic talent. However, due to life circumstances, she had to set her artistic pursuits aside and focus on academics, putting her creative aspirations on hold for nearly a decade.

After moving to Canada, Mahima began her professional journey as an interior designer in Toronto. While working in the design industry, she noticed a deep appreciation and growing enthusiasm for art among people in Canada. This cultural observation reignited her long-dormant passion for art, inspiring her to reimagine how she could merge her artistic roots with her design expertise.

Her current work explores a harmonious fusion between traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary Canadian aesthetics. Drawing on the vibrant artistry of Indian artisans and the clean, modern lines often seen in Canadian interiors, Mahima creates pieces that are both culturally rich and stylistically current. 

 

Her goal is to infuse interior spaces with meaning and emotion, offering designs that are not only functional but also deeply artistic. Each of her creations reflects a thoughtful balance between heritage and innovation—bringing together the warmth of traditional techniques and the freshness of modern design trends to create environments that feel both familiar and unique.
