Tulips are one of my favourite spring flowers. When they are past their prime in a vase, the individual petals continue to hold wonder for me. The light reflects their colours and sometimes passes right through them. This day the petals still looked vibrant so I tossed them on the counter and tried a few shots to see how it would turn out. The simplicity of their shapes and colours caught my eye.
